This large purse is made from a beautiful hand-embroidered and handwoven vintage 1980’s huipile from Patzun, Guatemala. The handle is made from braided pieces of vintage handwoven Guatemalan fabric. It is ornamented with old buttons and pompons. The purse is fully lined with a small pocket in the lining. The outside is cleverly fashioned so that the neckline of the huipile (on each side of the purse) opens to a large outside pocket on each side. The length of the shoulder strap is such that the top of the purse hangs just slightly above the waist. It is 16 1/4” from the top of the shoulder strap to the top of the bag. The purse itself is 14” long and 15 3/4” wide. This is a Las Manos Magicas exclusive!
