WELCOME TO LAS MANOS MÁGICAS!
After 22 years, we closed our physical gallery location and our folk art, jewelry, and textiles are now available solely online. Please use the buttons at the top of the page to look at our outstanding collection.
Since 1971, we have assembled an eclectic array of fine folk art and masks from Mexico and Guatemala, handcrafted jewelry, and fine ethnic textiles from many parts of the world. We even have some folk art from Cuba! Our folk art includes woodcarvings, religious folk art (crosses, santos, nichos, angels), tin hearts, skeletons for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and some vintage pieces. Our tribal textiles are from Guatemala, Mexico, India, Uzbekistan, Bolivia, the San Blas Islands (molas) and a few other places. We also have jewelry: an outstanding selection of finely handcrafted earrings and crosses by classic Mexican silversmiths. And we plan to also offer the one-of-a-kind jewelry designs of Las Manos Magicas owner Madeleine Crozat-Williams.
We are proud to practice fair trade and pay our artists fair prices for their work. When you purchase a work of art from us, you are not only bringing home a piece of beauty but you are also contributing to the survival of artists and art forms throughout the world.
