Tigre costume from Guerrero is 20+ years old. The costume is painted canvas (painted on back and front) and has very long legs, probably because the dancer wore stilts. The handcarved wood mask is complemented by the matching carved wooden miniature masks on the front of the costume. There are cracks in the paint (but not the canvas) indicating creasing during wear.
