humorous and endearing symbols of
Mexican religious and popular folk art
from the most mundane pieces of
discarded trash
littering the streets of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Particularly
relevant at a time when there is
such a strong interest in environmental issues,
these works address “the trash problem”
and the need to recycle
in a creative way.
