In Houston, Texas since 1971, we have assembled an eclectic array of folk art, fine craft (including handcrafted jewelry), and fine art. We hunt down those exceptionally well-designed and executed objects that you would rarely encounter in your shopping adventures.
Our area of expertise is Mexican folk art and such pieces comprise about 70% of our total inventory. Ours is one of the richest collections of work by Mexican artists to be found anywhere in the United States. We work with recognized artisans from all over Mexico and have developed personal relationships; thus we are able to choose amongst their best pieces. We are also constantly on the lookout for outstanding young artists who will be the maestros of the next generation.

We also sell offer ethnic art from other parts of the world, including fine textiles, and beautiful creations from India, Russia, Peru, China, and Indonesia.

In addition, Las Manos Mágicas represents several regional and local artists, including self-taught and outsider artists as well as those with scholarly training. They are remarkably creative, exhibit high mastery of their media, and their work fits well alongside ethnic folk art. This group marches to a slightly different drummer than the rest of the contemporary art world.
For your personal adornment, we carry an outstanding selection of finely handcrafted jewelry by gifted international artists. And we exclusively offer the chic beaded necklaces of gallery owner Madeleine Crozat-Williams.

We are located at  4819 Blossom , inside the 610 Loop close to Memorial Drive.  We are totally handicapped accessible. Our hours are 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Mondays and 10:30 to 5:50 Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We are closed Sundays and Wednesdays and on major holidays.  However, from Thanksgiving  through December 23, we are open Mondays through Saturdays.

MC, VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS,  and DISCOVER cards  and personal checks with proper identification are accepted at the gallery.
