Candelario Medrano Church 6

This church by Candelario Medrano is one of the prize jewels of the collection. It was originally purchased from Que Milagro in Houston, Texas, after Candelario's death. It was done very shortly before his death, but , according to the owner of Que Milagro, considered to be a very reputable dealer, his son Serapio signed his name on several of his father's pieces at that time, hence the "Serapio Medrano" signature. This piece has wonderful Indians instead of Saints on the front, makiang it a very special and unusual piece. It is 27 3/4" tall X 11 1/2" W X 7 3/4" deep. Price: $2100.
